Hedgefundie Part 2, I'm 28 years old. 2% using UPRO rebalanced against CASHZERO quarterly (interestingly using unleveraged 20 year bonds actually did over 1% better at 8. However, back testing on Portfolio Visualizer only goes back July 2009 due to the inception dates of UPRO (June 2009) and I don't think Hedgefundie ever address that particular point but it was discussed in part I by other participants. true Gold will very likely reduce your long term returns, but it may increase your risk adjusted returns.
